چکیده
This article examines the necessary skills that students need as they graduate and enter labor market, such effective communication, relationship building teamwork, leadership management, creative critical thinking, among others. Some debate exists over level at which college develop their employability degree to higher education institutions are preparing meet market requirements. Therefore, offer additional insights into debate, this study investigates perceptions of College Business Administration (CBA) in United States how developed those skills. Using a Likert-scale survey, 303 student-participants self-reported skill levels different competency areas. Confirmatory factor analysis was one structural equation modeling techniques used explore measure undergraduate needed for employment. Nonlinear Structural Equation Modeling: Is Partial Least Squares an Alternative?
Nonlinear structural equation modeling provides many advantages over analyses based on manifest variables only. Several approaches for the analysis of latent interaction effects have been developed within the last 15 years, including the partial least squares product indicator approach (PLS-PI), the constrained product indicator approach using the LISREL software (LISREL-PI), and the distributi...
متن کاملPartial Least Squares: The Better Approach to Structural Equation Modeling?
With the ever-increasing acceptance of the need to empirically validate theories in the social science disciplines (e.g., Sheth, 1971), data and multivariate analysis techniques (e.g., Hair et al., 2010; Hair et al., 2011b; Mooi and Sarstedt, 2011) play a central role in today’s research. The evolution of structural equation modeling (SEM) methods is perhaps the most important and influential s...
متن کاملDesigning a Commercialization Model for Research Achievements at a Military University Research Institute by Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling
Background and Aim: Today, in universities and research institutes, the lack of attention to commercialization makes it impossible or difficult to enter the markets for technology and research products. therefore, this study aims to design a commercialization model for research achievements of a military research institute. Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was done in a cross-sectional ...

Admission Conditions and Graduates’ Employability We evaluate the information content of admission conditions for study programs’ quality by investigating its relationship with graduates’ employability. We find that study programs with larger numeri clausi are associated with a higher probability of finding a job. Additionally, compulsory admission exams seem to be informative about study progr...
متن کاملPartial least squares methods: partial least squares correlation and partial least square regression.
Partial least square (PLS) methods (also sometimes called projection to latent structures) relate the information present in two data tables that collect measurements on the same set of observations. PLS methods proceed by deriving latent variables which are (optimal) linear combinations of the variables of a data table. When the goal is to find the shared information between two tables, the ap...
